BIO

         David Morales is a Madrid-based artist who combines photographic, painterly, and new media processes in order to explore the nuanced relationship between humankind and the natural world. He holds a BA in Fine arts, and an MA in Design and Animation, from Francisco de Vitoria University in Madrid (Spain) and has also studied at the Düsseldorfer Kunstakademie (Germany).

Having exhibited and participated in artist residencies at the international level, his creative practice is strongly influenced by his interaction with diverse landscapes. While he respects the unique identity of each image that he captures, he deftly weaves them together into a cohesive whole, using diverse techniques, and embracing compositions that highlight the interplay between geographical forms and shifting elements such as light and color.
